Around the World in Eighty Days — scene 1

Once upon a time, in the busy city of London, there lived a very special gentleman named Phileas Fogg. Every single day, Phileas did exactly the same things at exactly the same times. He woke up at seven, ate his breakfast at eight, and read his newspaper at nine. He was so precise that you could set your watch by what he was doing! Phileas lived in a beautiful house with a grandfather clock that went tick-tock all day long. He loved order and routine, and everything in his life was perfectly organized. His clothes were always neat, his shoes were always shiny, and his pocket watch was always exactly on time. The other gentlemen at his club thought he was quite remarkable for being so punctual and proper.
