Dorothy and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz

Once upon a time, in the wide, flat land of Kansas, there lived a little girl named Dorothy. She had the kindest brown eyes and hair that shone like sunshine. Dorothy lived on a farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry, where the grass was brown and the sky was often gray. Every day, Dorothy helped with the farm chores - feeding the chickens, gathering eggs, and helping in the garden. But sometimes, as she looked out across the endless prairie, Dorothy would dream of faraway places filled with color and wonder. She would sit on the porch steps with her little dog Toto, watching the clouds drift by, and wonder what adventures might be waiting beyond the horizon. The farm was quiet and peaceful, but Dorothy heart was full of curiosity about the big, wide world.
