Jack and the Beanstalk

Once upon a time, in a cozy cottage in the beautiful British countryside, there lived a kind young man named Jack and his loving mother. Their little home had a thatched roof made of golden straw and walls built from smooth gray stones. Jack was brave and clever, with tousled brown hair and bright green eyes that sparkled with kindness. But Jack and his mother were very poor. They had only one cow left, a gentle brown cow that gave them milk each day. Jack would pat the cow softly and whisper, Thank you for taking care of us. His mother would watch from the window, her heart heavy with worry. How will we buy food when winter comes? she wondered. Jack saw the worry in his mothers eyes and felt determined to help his family, no matter what it took.
