Kesi and the Lion's Share — scene 1

Once upon a time, in a beautiful African village, there lived a wise man named Kesi. The village was full of happy families who worked together every day. Children played under the big baobab tree while their parents tended gardens full of colorful vegetables. Kesi sat quietly watching everyone, his kind eyes twinkling with wisdom. He wore traditional clothes with beautiful patterns that told stories of his ancestors. The warm sun shone down on the red earth, and birds sang sweet songs in the acacia trees. Kesi smiled as he watched the villagers share their food and help each other. This was how things should be, he thought - everyone working together, everyone sharing fairly. But Kesi's wise heart could sense that something was coming. Change was in the air, like the smell of rain before a storm.
