The Boy Who Cried Wolf
Ages 4–5 9 min
Once upon a time, in a beautiful Greek village nestled among rolling green hills, there lived a young shepherd boy. Every morning, he would take his fluffy white sheep up to the hillside to graze. The boy loved watching his sheep nibble the sweet grass while the warm sun shone down on them. He carried a wooden staff that his grandfather had carved for him, and he felt very important taking care of his sheep. The hillside was peaceful and quiet, with only the gentle bleating of sheep and the whisper of wind through the olive trees. The boy would sit on a smooth rock and watch his sheep, feeling content and happy. This was his special job, and he was proud to be a shepherd like his father and grandfather before him.
