The Crow and the Pitcher — scene 1

Once upon a time, in the sunny hills of ancient Greece, there lived a very clever crow. His feathers were as black as midnight and shone like polished stones in the sunlight. On this particular day, Clever Crow spread his strong wings wide and soared high above the rolling countryside. The sun blazed hot and bright in the clear blue sky, warming the olive trees and rocky hills below. As he flew, Clever Crow felt the warm wind beneath his wings, carrying him over fields of golden wheat and patches of wild lavender. But something was different today - the air felt especially dry, and the heat seemed stronger than usual. Little did he know, this flight would lead him to discover something wonderful about the power of thinking carefully and never giving up.
