The Elves and the Shoemaker — scene 1

Once upon a time, in a cozy little village in Germany, there lived a kind shoemaker. Every morning, he would wake up early and go to his workshop. The workshop smelled like leather and wood, and sunlight streamed through the windows. The shoemaker loved making shoes. He would carefully cut the leather, stitch it together, and polish each shoe until it gleamed. His hands were gentle but strong from years of working with leather. He always hummed happy songs while he worked, and his eyes sparkled with kindness. The shoemaker believed that every pair of shoes he made should be perfect, because he wanted people to feel comfortable and happy when they wore them. Even when his back was tired and his fingers were sore, he never stopped trying his best. He was the kind of person who put love into everything he did.
