The Fir Tree
Once upon a time, in a beautiful Danish forest, there grew a young fir tree. The little tree had bright green needles that sparkled in the morning sunlight, and its branches reached up toward the sky like tiny arms stretching after a good sleep. All around the fir tree, the forest was alive with wonder. Tall oak trees whispered gentle songs in the breeze, and soft moss covered the ground like a green carpet. Wildflowers bloomed in patches of golden sunlight, and a clear stream bubbled nearby, singing its own happy tune. The young fir tree felt the warm earth beneath its roots and the fresh forest air all around. This was home - a perfect, peaceful place where everything was just right. The tree grew a little taller each day, feeling strong and healthy in its forest home.
