The Hare and the Hound — scene 1

Once upon a time, in a beautiful Greek field filled with sweet clover and wildflowers, there lived a fast hare. His name was Fast Hare, and he had the most wonderful brown fur that shone in the sunlight. His long ears could hear every sound in the field - the buzzing of bees, the whisper of wind through grass, and the gentle songs of birds. On this peaceful morning, Fast Hare was enjoying his breakfast, nibbling on the tastiest clover he could find. His powerful legs, built for the fastest running, were relaxed as he hopped from flower to flower. He felt safe and happy in his field home, with the warm sun on his back and the soft earth beneath his paws. Little did he know that this quiet morning would teach him something very important about what happens when something really, really matters to us.
