The Kind Sparrow

Once upon a time, in a peaceful Japanese village, there lived a kind old man and his wife in a cozy cottage with a beautiful garden. The old man had gentle brown eyes and always wore his simple gray kimono. Every morning, he would tend to his garden with loving care, watering the flowers and vegetables. His wife would prepare their meals and keep their home neat and tidy. They lived quietly together, sharing their simple life. The old man loved all the creatures in his garden - the butterflies, the bees, and especially the birds that came to visit. He would always leave little crumbs for them to eat.
