The Laughing Volcano

Once upon a time, in the cold, snowy land of Iceland, there lived a very grumpy volcano. This volcano was not like other volcanoes - he did not roar or rumble with fire. Instead, he sat very still on the icy landscape, covered in white snow from his rocky head to his wide base. The wind whistled around him, cold and lonely. All day long, the volcano would frown and grumble to himself. He felt forgotten by the world, like no one cared about him at all. The other mountains seemed so far away, and no one ever came to visit. The volcano heart felt as cold as the snow that covered him, and he grew grumpier and grumpier each day.
