The Lighthouse Keeper — scene 1

Once upon a time, on a rocky coast where the ocean waves danced with the shore, there stood a tall white lighthouse. Inside this lighthouse lived a man called the Faithful Keeper. Every morning, he would climb the winding stairs to the very top, where a great glass lens caught the sunlight and made it sparkle like diamonds. The Keeper loved his lighthouse more than anything in the world. He polished its walls until they gleamed, swept every step until it shone, and tended the great light with gentle hands. From his window, he could see ships sailing across the blue ocean, their white sails billowing in the breeze. The Keeper smiled as he watched them, knowing that his lighthouse would guide them safely home when darkness fell. This was his most important job - to keep the light burning bright so that no ship would ever lose its way.
