The Little Princess

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sara Crewe. She had the most beautiful dark brown hair and the kindest blue eyes you have ever seen. One day, Sara arrived at a big, grand school in London called Miss Minchin Seminary. The school was made of dark red bricks and had tall, tall windows that sparkled in the sunlight. Sara wore a beautiful blue velvet dress with white lace, and she carried a small leather book of stories. When she walked through the big wooden doors of the school, everyone stopped to look at her. She looked just like a little princess! The school building seemed to welcome her with its grand entrance and shiny brass nameplate. Sara smiled gently at everyone she met, because that is what kind little girls do.
