The Magic Paintbrush
Ages 4–5 9 min
Once upon a time, in a small village in Korea, there lived a young artist who had very little money but a very big heart. His tiny studio was filled with paintbrushes and canvases, but his paintings never looked quite right. The artist would sit on his wooden stool, looking at his work with sad eyes. 'Why can't I paint something beautiful?' he would whisper to himself. His clothes were simple and worn, and his stomach often felt empty, but he never stopped trying. Every morning, he would pick up his brush with hope in his heart, dreaming of the day when he could create something truly wonderful. The artist's hands were gentle, and his heart was pure, even though his paintings seemed lifeless and dull.
