The Magic Porridge Pot

Once upon a time, there lived a little girl with the kindest heart you ever did see. She had soft brown hair in pretty braids and bright blue eyes that sparkled with love. But oh dear, when she opened the cupboards in her little cottage, they were almost empty! Just a few crumbs here and there. The little girl looked at her mama with worried eyes. They had so little food left, and her tummy was starting to rumble. But this little girl was very brave and very caring. She did not cry or feel sorry for herself. Instead, she thought, I must find a way to help mama and me. Maybe I can find some berries in the forest! She gave her mama a gentle hug and said, Do not worry, mama. I will find us something good to eat. And with that, she put on her little shoes and got ready to go on an adventure.
