The Memory Keeper — scene 1

Once upon a time, in the sacred lands of Australia, there lived a young Aboriginal child with a heart full of wonder. This child loved to walk through the ancient country where their ancestors had walked for thousands and thousands of years. The red earth felt warm beneath their bare feet, and the wind whispered secrets through the tall grass. Every step the child took was like following invisible footprints left by grandmothers and grandfathers from long, long ago. The child could feel something special in this place - something that made their heart beat faster with excitement. They knew that somewhere in this sacred land, the stories of their people were waiting to be found. The child walked slowly and carefully, listening to every sound the land made, hoping to hear the voices of their ancestors calling out from the past.
