The Moonlight Weaver
Ages 4–5 9 min
Once upon a time, in a peaceful Vietnamese village, there lived a young woman who loved to weave. Her name was Moonlight Weaver, and she had the most gentle hands you have ever seen. Every morning, she would sit at her wooden loom and work with colorful threads. Click-clack, click-clack went her loom as she wove beautiful cloth. She practiced every single day because she wanted to make the most wonderful fabric in all the world. The other villagers would walk by and smile at the sound of her loom. "Listen," they would say to their children, "that is the sound of someone who never gives up." Moonlight Weaver would smile back, but she never stopped working. She knew that the most beautiful things take time and patience to create.
