The Northern Lights Painter
Once upon a time, in a snowy village in Norway, there lived a little girl who loved to paint more than anything in the world. Her name was Young Painter, and she had golden hair in neat braids and the brightest blue eyes you have ever seen. Every night, when the northern lights danced across the dark sky in ribbons of green and blue and purple, Young Painter would stand at her window and watch in wonder. The aurora borealis swirled and shimmered like magic paint across the heavens, and Young Painter would press her nose against the cold glass and whisper, I wish I could paint something that beautiful. She would watch the lights dance until her eyes grew heavy, dreaming of colors that moved and sparkled like the aurora itself. In her heart, a special dream was growing - a dream so big and beautiful that it would change everything.
