The Three Billy Goats Gruff

Once upon a time, high up on a rocky Norwegian mountain, there lived three billy goats. There was Little Goat, who was the smallest and bravest. There was Middle Goat, who was bigger and stronger. And there was Big Goat, who was the biggest of all. They lived together as a happy family on the mountainside, where the rocks were gray and the grass was short and brown. Every morning, Little Goat would wake up and look around at their mountain home. The wind would blow through his soft white fur, and his tiny hooves would click on the rocks as he walked. His little horns were just starting to grow, and his bright brown eyes sparkled with cleverness. The three goat brothers loved each other very much, and they always took care of one another.
