The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse — scene 1

Once upon a time, in a peaceful green field far from the busy world, there lived a little brown mouse called Country Mouse. He had soft brown fur and gentle eyes that sparkled with contentment. Every morning, Country Mouse would wake up in his cozy burrow and stretch his tiny paws toward the warm sunshine. He loved his simple life in the countryside. The grass was soft beneath his feet, and the air smelled sweet like wildflowers. Country Mouse would spend his days gathering seeds and berries, always finding just enough to fill his little belly. He never worried about having fancy things or grand meals. His greatest joy was watching the clouds drift across the blue sky and listening to the birds sing their happy songs. In the evening, he would sit by his burrow and feel grateful for his peaceful, quiet home. Country Mouse believed that having enough was the same as having everything.
