The Wisdom Owl
Once upon a time, on the great rolling plains where the grass waves like an ocean, there lived three young Lakota warriors. Their names were Swift Arrow, Brave Heart, and Strong Wind. Every morning when the sun painted the sky pink and gold, they would practice with their bows and arrows. They ran as fast as the wind across the endless grassland, their feet drumming on the earth like thunder. 'We are the strongest!' called Swift Arrow, shooting arrow after arrow at distant targets. 'We are the bravest!' shouted Brave Heart, leaping over rocks and streams. 'We are the fastest!' laughed Strong Wind, racing his friends across the plains. The three warriors trained hard every day, their muscles growing strong and their aim growing true. But in their hearts, they felt restless. They wanted everyone to see how mighty they were. They wanted to prove that they were the greatest warriors who ever lived. The vast plains stretched endlessly around them, holding ancient secrets in the whisper of the grass.
