Tom's Big Adventure
Ages 4–5 9 min
Once upon a time, in a little town by the big Mississippi River, there lived a boy named Tom Sawyer. Tom had tousled brown hair and bright blue eyes that sparkled with mischief. He lived with his dear Aunt Polly, who loved him very much but sometimes had to remind him to be good. One sunny morning, Tom decided he didn't want to go to school. Instead, he went fishing by the river and played with his friends. When Aunt Polly found out, she shook her head and said, 'Oh, Tom! What am I going to do with you?' Tom hung his head because he knew he had made a mistake. Aunt Polly wasn't really angry - she just wanted Tom to learn that going to school was important.
