1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using The Book of Inara (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that any child’s use of the App complies with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by families. Children may use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Purchases and subscriptions must only be made by adults through their Apple App Store or Google Play accounts.

3. Free Tier

The App provides a free tier with limited access to a selection of stories. No payment is required to use the free tier.

4. Cosmic Library Membership

Premium content is offered through an auto-renewing subscription called the “Cosmic Library” membership.

• Pricing: USD $10/month or USD $60/year. Prices are handled by Apple and Google and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions are billed to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can cancel anytime in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are provided by Apple/Google per their policies.

5. Managing Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple and Google under their respective policies. Luminara One Pte. Ltd. cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Access Across Devices

Subscriptions are valid across devices linked to the same Apple ID (for iOS/iPadOS) or Google account (for Android).

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including stories, characters, artwork, animations, videos, quizzes, and collectibles, is the exclusive property of Luminara One Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the App’s content without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

We do not collect personal information from children. Subscription and purchase data are processed securely by RevenueCat, Apple, and Google solely for billing and entitlement management. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if necessary to protect the service or other users, or if these Terms are violated.

10. Disclaimers

While we strive to ensure the App runs smoothly and safely, we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The App is provided “as is” and “as available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Luminara One Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the subscription in the past 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Luminara One Pte. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Luminara One Pte. Ltd. regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Content Availability and Revocation

We may modify, replace, or remove content from the Service at any time. To comply with legal, safety, or rights requirements, we may delete previously downloaded or collected items from a user’s device if they have been revoked. This process does not collect personal data.
